Lundy Pilgrimage: Your Complete Guide and Pilgrim Passport

It is Lundy’s quietness and remoteness that make it idea for a Pilgrimage. You can either travel over for the day or stay for a few days. Which ever you chose make sure you read this little book before you go.

The book also serves as a Passport for the special stamp you can get when completing your pilgrimage.

The route I have used for the Pilgrimage,
a journey around the whole Island. The walking route visits places, such as: Christies Quay, St Helens Copse, Knights Templar rock, Virgin Springs, The Hand of God, The Apostle Stones, Beacon Hill burial ground, St Johns Valley and ends at St Helen’s church.

If you are coming by boat for the day, there is only time to walk this Pilgrimage on a Bideford sailing which starts early in the morning and leaves later in the aft ernoon. (See the Lundy Sailing timetable for details)
You could book to stay on the campsite and your camping gear will be taken up to the campsite for you.

A part of pilgrimage is to tune into your senses, so you will find prompts in the book to help you to do this.

At the end of the pilgrimage I would like you to add a votive into the Jar at the back of the Church.

If you cannot access the book/passport. Here is a digital version.
