A Unique Pilgrimage Experience on Lundy

I am really thrilled to meet people enjoying the pilgrimage booklet. I wrote and printed it as part of my Masters in Fine Art. The little book is available in St Helen’s church. It includes sensory prompts, like discovering the temperature of the granite, walking barefoot, and smelling the yarrow. It has special written contributions from Rev. Jane Skinner and a provoking thought about being a pilgrim from Satish Kumar.

The book It also serves as a passport. It provides a place where you can ink with the unique John Dyke designed Knight Templar stamp.

Regular Lundy visitors Stella and Rob from Wales. I met these guys one evening when they were just coming across the stile after Benjamin’s Chair. Reaching the end of the pilgrimage on a lovely evening, put them in a reflective mood.

Mandy and Lou had their passports stamped at the end of the walk. They both enjoyed the sensory aspect of the walk. This happened a few days after they had participated in a week-long Lundy Field Society working party. They also attempted some haiku writing.

Passports are available in the church for a minimum donation of £1.00
