A collection of participatory and walking-based art projects, developed on Lundy and beyond. Each begins with a walk and an invitation to look differently.

Haikus in Type
Paused
Visitors to Lundy are invited to write haiku responses to the landscape using a typewriter installed in Felix Gade Hut. A growing archive of island voices, with over 250 haikus collected so far.

PostSense
Community · MA Research
A postcard project exploring sensory awareness on Lundy. Participants responded to prompts about sight, sound and touch — 80 postcards were exhibited at St Helen’s Church.

Pocket Drawings
Participatory
Visitors walk with a pencil in their pocket. The body’s movement guides the pencil, creating a drawing that is both map and embodied record of the journey across Lundy.

Lundy Pilgrimage Booklet
Ongoing
A sensory guide to walking Lundy as a pilgrimage. Includes prompts to touch granite, walk barefoot, and smell yarrow. Available at St Helen’s Church.
